Supply Chain Optimization

By Orisys Academy on 20th January 2024

Problem Statement

Supply chain inefficiencies, lack of traceability, and fraud pose significant
challenges in industries like food and pharmaceuticals.

Abstract

The Supply Chain Optimization project integrates blockchain and IoT to create a
transparent and efficient supply chain system. This technology aims to enhance
traceability, reduce fraud, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Outcome

Enhanced traceability of products from manufacturing to delivery.
Reduced fraud through secure and transparent blockchain transactions.
Improved supply chain efficiency, leading to cost savings and increased
customer trust.

The paper mainly discusses distributors’ different competitive behaviors and the sensitivity of distribution quantity to the prices so that the order decision of a distribution system is researched. The profit models of producer and distributors are developed respectively. Operational research and game theory are utilized to solve the models and the experimental results show that the algorithm can wonderfully analyze the distribution system.
