Access to quality vocational skills training is limited, hindering individuals from
acquiring practical skills for employment.

Abstract

The Digital Learning Platform for Vocational Skills project aims to bridge this gap
by developing an online learning platform. This platform provides accessible and
comprehensive vocational skills training, empowering individuals with the
practical knowledge needed for employment in various industries.

Outcome

● Increased accessibility to vocational skills training for a diverse population.
● Improved employability of individuals through practical and relevant skill
development.
● Enhanced economic growth by addressing the skills gap in the job market.

Reference

Infosys Campus Connect (CC) is an industry-academia partnership initiative to evolve a model through which Infosys and engineering institutions can partner to enhance the education level of engineering students nationwide and increase employability of these engineers for growth requirements in Information Technology (IT) space. CC, therefore helps partner colleges groom Industry ready engineers. As part of this initiative, CC shares with academia its proven courseware, methodology, project samples and education experience through an effective digital collaboration platform named as Campus Connect portal. The objective is to provide a Digital Collaboration Platform for Academia-Industry interaction on anytime, anywhere basis. This paper focuses on how CC portal offers fast and secure access to high quality technical and soft skills courseware, course videos, assessments, project samples, web based seminars, interview skills and other materials for students and faculty members across partnering colleges.
