Problem Statement
Environmental monitoring is often centralized and lacks local community
involvement, leading to incomplete and delayed data collection on air quality,
pollution levels, and other environmental factors.
Abstract
The Community-Based Environmental Monitoring project involves local residents
in collecting data on environmental factors. Utilizing sensors and community
engagement, this system aims to provide real-time and accurate information on
air quality, pollution levels, and other environmental factors.
Outcome
● Increased awareness of local environmental conditions within
communities.
● Timely response to environmental issues through real-time data collection.
● Empowerment of communities to actively participate in environmental
stewardship.

Abstract form only given. Environment quality of a community relates to the residents’ health and standard of living significantly, and it also directly has effect on whole urban environment quality as a component of a city. With rapid urbanization in China, the monitoring of environment quality of a community, and further improve environment quality to optimize residents’ living standard is becoming an important issue.
