“Great is the art of beginning, but greater is the art of ending”
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
We knew this day would come. We knew we will have to type this. But we never knew it would be this hard…
Yes, it was Graduation of our first batches.
The farewell ceremony was on 18th January 2020 (Saturday) for the Junior Software Developer (JSD1) & Electrician Domestic (ED) batches. Each time we met to plan this farewell; it was mostly silence! We knew we had to plan this someday but it was harder than we imagined.
Couple of family members of the students made it to the farewell ceremony but still the hall was tightly packed – might be it was the emotions that was taking the extra space. We had asked our students to prepare something to entertain everyone but no one could, we know why.
We had the presence of Mr Chandhrababu and Mr SivaKumar, who are experts at their domains. Also, from the management side we had Mr Arun Raj R (CEO), Mr Amruth Raj R (Creative Director), Mr Ashik Shukkoor (Project Head), Mr Suraj M Rengan (Quality Head), Ms Prasobha P Madhu, Ms Keerthy Venugopal (Quality Assurance Executive), Ms Megha T (MIS Head), Ms Smitha S Nair (Placement Officer), all our Trainers and Supporting Staff.
During the experience sharing session by the Students, Parents, Trainers and Management staff – everyone spoke high of the Academy. Students shared their experiences – some of them could make it funny and others cried one’s eyes out. Parents were happy about the change they felt in their children. Trainers shared about their students with gratification and anticipation about student’s future.
We gave the Course Completion Certificates to each student, they all earned it.
The ceremony was lit. Towards the end it was noisy – screaming, howling since we wanted our students to be “students”. It was their day; it was something they all waited for long.
We will miss you our dear Friends, you will be always special.
Congratulations and all the best for your higher studies and continue to make us proud. Cheers!
