A RIDE WITH THE DAUNTLESS EXPLORER

By Akhila V S on 9th January 2021

Mrs. Shyni Rajkumar , founder of the first women’s bullet club of Kerala : ”Dautless Royal Explorer’s club”,The Real legend lady bullet rider, reached Orisys Academy and Skill Development and Research, Sreekaryam, Trivandrum on Saturday (09th Jan 2021) at 11.00pm.

The programme started with a small introduction of  her.

She primarily gave awareness on hot topics like women empowerment. From her words it was evident that she was really passionate about bullet rides and was the first lady from kerala to have have travelled from kanyakumari to leh about 12,000 kms in 42 days .She had worked as a P.T teacher and as a police trainee for quite some days but soon had to quit those just for the pursuit of her passion.

She always keeps an infectious smile on her face. She has a good collection of vehicles with her where majority of them being the bullet breed.                       She also trains women to ride the bullets as a part of the club that she runs with some of her friends. “Making money out of her passion” a striking quote from her.

The real backbone behind her journey, is her supportive husband, son and her family. The kind of vibe that she passed on to us is real bliss. She had to thrive through many comments and criticism from society as well as her relatives on her journey to pursue her passion. But however her mother supported her in the long run.

We were really dumb struck  to see and hear from a normal woman who shut her ears off the society on pursuit of her dreams. The enthusiasm she showed up to share her experiences was really appreciable.

We expect to interact with more such people here at ORISYS . We whole heartedly thank all co-ordinators  who arranged this session in this busy schedule.

The article is written by Ms. Akhila, an ongoing batch student of JSD at Orisys Academy for Skill Development and Research which provides skill development and training for young aspiring youth helping them fill their skill gap before entering the employment market. Around 300 youth are already successfully skilled, trained and placed and still counting.
